Intermediate/Advanced Program

SMRC designed its Intermediate/Advanced Rowing Program to facilitate a comprehnsive rowing experience for seasoned male and female rowers.   The Intermediate/Advanced Program is for the rower who wants to be coached regularly, and wants to be challenged by their training.  Intermediate/Advanced rowers should have the physical ability and rowing skills to handle a demanding rowing regimine.

This program meets three times weekly (Mondays/Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday mornings 8:00-10:30) and is offered two times in 2008, each two months in length.  Participants should have completed an SMRC Novice Beginner program, Learn to Row class, Corporate Program or be checked out by an SMRC coach.   The Intermediate/Advanced Program is not offered in September or October, participants may row with the Racing Crews or the Mixed Sweep Program for coached rows.

The SMRC Intermediate/Advanced Program is $150 per program for SMRC members and $300 for non-SMRC participants.  Pre-registration is required.

SMRC Mixed Sweep is offered the following dates:

Intermediate/Advanced I (May 12-June 28)

Intermediate/Advanced II (July 7-August 23)

I would like to sign-up for this program, but I can not commit to Saturdays. Is there anyway we could do the first session on Mon/Wed and reduce the cost. I think a few others have the same concern.

I am in for this session. I will be out of town on June 7, 9 & 21. Otherwise I am available for all other days.

I was planning on rowing with this program. Are we going to be able to make it work on Mon. & Wed.? I have class Thursday evenings throughout the summer.
